About

Ty & Mitsziko

Pampa High School 10 Year Reunion

I am a Christian, a husband, a daddy, a son and a brother. I am an employee, a coworker, a veteran of the Texas Army National Guard and Army Reserves and a (amateur) student of military history.

There are so many things that I am not so I try hard to be good at what I am. I am a Christian because I believe that God sent his son, Jesus, to die on the cross for my sins. I am a husband because God knew that I could not survive in this world alone. I may, however, be some sort of punishment for Mitsziko (a.k.a. Mitszi). I am a daddy because my wife is so good at being a mommy.

I enjoy my family more than anything else in the world. I spend my time with them. This obviously includes my wife and children but is not limited to just them. We spend several days a month with my parents, who live a few blocks away, and as much time as possible with Mitszi’s parents (who don’t). Our brothers and sisters are also some of our best friends but we don’t get to see them as much. The one exception is Jerrica (my baby sister) and her son Gabriel. We see those two almost as much as we see my parents.

Friends are very important to me. I have hundreds of friends because I have never really met a stranger. There are, however, some friends that have become family and a few more that are getting there. With them I enjoy conversation, relaxing on the driveway with a cigar and/or scotch and/or beer, watching a movie or anything else really. A word of caution to those who are converting to family: You will likely move to Colorado. Some of you will understand that “joke”.

The things besides my family that I enjoy most are watching movies, cooking/baking, coffee (as a snob, I like experimenting with my own roasts) and reading almost anything concerning our greatest generation. More specifically, those who served in uniform. I find myself naturally reading more about the Western front and Africa but I can’t say that I have a definite preference. I prefer to read nonfiction but there are some historical (and strong fact based) fiction pieces that are good.

I enjoy my work and those with whom I work. I get to meet people and I get to work from home. I am provided with opportunities to expand my influence and this suits me.

I am an open book so if you find something in this site that causes you concern, please understand that I am what God made me.
